Intro and Bio:
As avid social dancers, we have a meticulous approach to teaching the mechanics of the art form - with an emphasis on posture, floorcraft and musicality. In addition to our regular group classes in tango, we offer workshops in special topics such as Milonga (a festive rhythm in the family of tango), Tango Technique, and Embellishments.
We host a social dance party, also referred to as a milonga, every second Saturday of the month. It is an opportunity for dancers in the Atlanta tango community to come together to share their joy of tango. And, it is an excellent opportunity for newcomers to socialize and view some beautiful dancing - to witness a range of styles that manifest the individuality afforded by tango.
As performers, we extend our social dancing to fit the setting and event - visually communicating the intimacy of the partnership and richness of the music - often with larger and more complex movements than the social dance setting permits.
