Club Tapiz
Club Tapiz is located on an estate built in 1890, surrounded by acres of vineyards. The main house, built in 1900 as the home of the vineyard owner, gives the feeling of living in a different era. It has been wonderfully restored, preserving its Renaissance-style villa structure, maintaining vintage elements, and each of its seven guest rooms has enthralling views of the Andean Range. In 2006, the building was declared a national Historical, Architectural and Tourist Heritage landmark. A few yards from the main house there is an old winery that produces artisan wines. Golfing, trekking, rafting, horseback riding, and wine sampling are also offered.

Rancho E' Cuero
Very close to the Nivero del Plata Glacier, this 7,413-acre (3,000-hectare) estancia, 68 miles (110 kms) to the south of Mendoza, captures the landscape with its spectacular large windows overlooking the Andes mountains. The warmth and luminosity of E' Cuero's rustic atmosphere redolent with gaucho details offer a comfortable stay on the way to the mountains. Relaxation is key here. A walk along the creek that starts at the estancia, allowing a view of its surroundings to watch the condors hovering overhead or observing the dozens of guanacos grazing in the meadows will give you a true taste of Patagonia. The ramada, an expansive area near the ranch's outdoor clay ovens, is the site chosen for evening bonfires and lunches when barbecues and other local delicacies are enjoyed in the open air.
